Admiralty V and W-Class Destroyer – 1/48 Scale Model Hull and Fittings
The Admiralty V and W-class destroyers were among the most successful British destroyer designs of the First World War. Their strong mechanical, technical and operational performance influenced British destroyer development for the following two decades.
Many vessels survived the destroyer reductions of the 1930s and went on to serve in a variety of roles during the Second World War. Some were converted into anti-aircraft escort ships, commonly known as “Wair” conversions, providing additional protection for Allied naval forces and convoys.

Admiralty V and W-Class Destroyer Model Hull
The hull is moulded in white glass-reinforced plastic (GRP), with full plating detail. Markings for the propeller shaft outlets, A-frames and rudder positions are included to assist with construction.
