H.M.S. York Fittings
HMS York fittings in 1/96 scale for builders of the Type 42 Batch 3 destroyer. This comprehensive range of fittings packs includes weapons, radar systems, boats, deck equipment and detailing parts designed to help create an accurate model of HMS York as she appeared in service.
HMS York was the second ship of the Type 42 Batch 3 class. One of the major improvements over the earlier Type 42 destroyers was the addition of a hull approximately sixteen metres longer, providing improved accommodation and greater scope for future upgrades. While retaining the familiar weapons and superstructure layout, the stretched hull created a more capable and versatile warship.
The fittings sets are designed to complement the glass fibre hull and detailed Jecobin plan set.
