R.M.A.S. Alice fittings for scale model builders.
RMAS Alice was a Girl-class harbour tug used for light towing duties within port limits and for coastal passages. The class consisted of eight vessels, all built to the same specification and given girls’ names beginning with either A or B.
Originally operated in support of the Royal Navy, these compact tugs were designed for practical harbour work, providing towing assistance and undertaking short coastal journeys when required.
Although the Girl-class tugs have since been retired from naval service, vessels from the class have continued working under private ownership.

RMAS Alice model hull
The RMAS Alice hull is moulded in white GRP and accurately represents the double hard-chine construction of the original harbour tug.
A rubbing strip at deck level is incorporated directly into the moulding, helping reproduce the vessel’s characteristic appearance while providing a practical starting point for construction.
